Module Live

Tasks that refuse to disappear.

Task management that rolls with your day. Incomplete tasks surface automatically every morning — no cron jobs, no reminders to check the list. Assign to teammates, set priorities, and never let anything fall through the cracks again.

Three outcomes teams notice immediately.

Less dropped work

Overdue tasks stay visible in the daily queue until completed, so work items do not vanish into backlog noise.

Faster coordination

Assign owners, priorities, and due dates in one place so teams know exactly what must be done next.

Better focus time

Calendar blocking protects execution windows, reducing context-switching and reactive task churn.

Fit check

Who this is built for.

Best fit if you

  • Manage repeatable operational work across a team
  • Need visibility on overdue or unclaimed tasks daily
  • Want assignment, priority, and accountability in one queue
  • Need tasks linked to actual calendar execution time

Not ideal if you

  • Only track personal one-off to-dos occasionally
  • Do not need team assignment or status visibility
  • Prefer unstructured task notes without ownership
  • Need full project management dependencies and Gantt planning
Implementation

Rollout in four stages.

01

Workflow map

Define recurring work types, owners, and priority standards.

02

Task model

Set templates, recurrence rules, and assignment defaults for teams.

03

Launch

Go live with daily queue usage and manager visibility dashboards.

04

Optimise

Tune due-date logic, workload balance, and blocked-time behaviour.

Pricing

Live from the platform. What you see is what you pay.

Features

Task management that keeps up with your team.

Rolling Daily View

Incomplete tasks with a past due date surface automatically in today's view. Nothing disappears — no matter how long it's been sitting there.

Team Assignment

Assign tasks to any team member and they're notified instantly. Managers see everything; staff only see what's assigned to them.

Four Priority Levels

Urgent, High, Normal, and Backlog — colour-coded throughout the interface so you always know what needs attention first.

Calendar Time Blocking

Set a time block on any task and it automatically reserves that slot in the assignee's calendar — preventing bookings during focused work time.

Recurring Tasks

Set tasks to repeat daily, weekly, or monthly. When you complete one, the next instance is automatically created with the same details.

Real-Time Stats

Live dashboard showing overdue, due today, upcoming, and completed counts for your entire team — no chasing anyone for status updates.

Task Templates

Save common tasks as reusable templates. New hire onboarding, weekly maintenance, client delivery — create from template in one click.

Subtasks & Comments

Break tasks into smaller steps with subtasks. Add comments to keep discussion in context — all history stays attached to the task.

Task Lists

Organise tasks into named lists — by project, client, team, or workflow. Filter and switch between lists to focus on what matters right now.

How it works

The rolling view — how it's different.

Most task apps hide overdue tasks or bury them under a tab you never open. We surface them every single day until they are done.

MON

Task created, due today

You create a task due Monday. It appears at the top of today's view with its due date.

TUE

Not completed — it rolls over

Monday came and went. On Tuesday morning, it's still in your view — now marked as overdue. It hasn't disappeared. It hasn't moved to a separate "overdue" screen you never check.

WED

Still there. Still visible.

Same on Wednesday. Same on Thursday. The task surfaces every day until someone completes it or you explicitly move it.

DONE

Completed — and it's gone

When you mark it complete, it moves to completed for the day. Clean, simple, done.

Use cases

For teams that can't afford dropped balls.

Operations teams

Keep daily checklists, recurring processes, and team-wide tasks organised without managing three different apps and a shared inbox.

Client work tracking

Assign follow-ups, next steps, and action items directly to the people responsible. Nothing gets lost in email threads.

Personal productivity

Staff get their own rolling view of tasks assigned to them — a personal queue that updates automatically. No more "what should I be doing?" confusion.

FAQ

Common questions.

It means overdue tasks don't disappear into a separate view you have to go looking for. If a task was due Monday and wasn't completed, it's still in your main view on Wednesday — marked as overdue. It stays there until you complete it or explicitly move it. Nothing silently disappears.

Yes. Managers and admins can assign tasks to any team member. The assignee is notified by email, and the task appears in their own rolling view. Staff members only see tasks assigned to them — they're not overwhelmed by everyone else's work.

When you add a time block to a task, it creates an availability block in that team member's Devalo calendar. The calendar module reads these blocks when showing available booking slots — so customers can't accidentally book during time reserved for focused work.

Yes. Set any task to repeat daily, weekly, or monthly. When the current instance is completed, the next one is automatically created with the same details, due date calculated from the recurrence pattern.

The platform is fully mobile-responsive and works in any mobile browser. A native app is on the product roadmap.
